Department of Humanities
The Department of Humanities General Education contributes to learning by providing expertise in key areas such as Philosophy, Ethics, History, Languages, Literature, Theatre, Music, Fine Arts and Interdisciplinary Studies. The main objective is to foster student development of a universal culture which includes knowledge, experiences, attitudes and skills that enable graduates to perform as individuals, citizens and professionals.
The Department provides students the opportunity to broaden their experiences through study, extracurricular experiences and cultural exchanges. The university community is enriched by the production of knowledge and develop attitudes and skills that help us become better human beings and responsible citizens committed to Puerto Rican society and humanity of which we participate. |
