EEI provides environmental education services and professional certifications to those who work in private and public companies.

Professional Certifications

EEI has formed alliances with the National Registry for Environmental Professionals (NREP) and ASTM International to offer their respective certifications to environmental professionals in Puerto Rico. These certifications include: Registered Environmental Manager (REM), Certified Environmental Auditor (CEA), and ASTM Phase 1 and 2.

Department of Transportation (DOT)

In 2005, EEI began offering DOT’s General Awareness course, a required course for all personnel involved in shipping, transporting, and receiving hazardous materials.
