Exchange of Faculty and Visiting Professors

Conscious that the root of the international identity of a University is in the quantity of visiting professors and researchers it has available. The UMET promotes visits from scholars and research with an international focus. The San Juan campus has received Fulbright professors and scholars from Brazil, Spain, France, Egypt, Lebanon, Israel, Indonesia, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Visiting scholars from the University of International Business and Economics, in Beijing, China, have contributed to the development of the International Commerce program’s curriculum, meanwhile another Brazilian scholar helped develop the Environmental Education program.
