The principal function of the Ana G. Méndez University System's Division of Organizational Development is to promote and facilitate organizational changes that serve to increase productivity, adaptability, and effectiveness while improving workplace quality of life and the well-being of the organization, thus maximizing the performance of the associates and the work teams they comprise.

According to our Strategic Vector of Management and Organizational Development, our Division promotes the formation and integration of agile and flexible organizational structures in accordance with a diversified client environment that is becoming less traditional, focusing its resources on strengthening academic structures and student service.

In order to achieve increased organizational efficiency, it is necessary to conduct interventions with associates and work teams to identify growth aspirations and personal development goals within the organization, and optimize effectiveness by promoting cooperation, conflict resolution, and teamwork.

Our Division defines its goals and objectives in the following way:

  • Encourage an organizational culture that allows associates, managers, and executives to reach personal development goals and experience job satisfaction.

  • Promote cooperative efforts and teamwork.

  • Cultivate trust among associates and teams within the organization.

  • Represent the lines of supervision and hierarchies between associates in a way that encourages workplace unity.

  • Make associates feel as if they are participants in obtaining organizational objectives.

  • Clarify the roles, duties, and responsibilities of each post.

  • Provide management consulting, emphasizing conflict resolution between individuals and work teams.
