CLASSIFICATION AND PAYMENT PLAN

The equal-pay-for-equal-work principal serves as SUAGM's guide when managing its personnel. Those positions with similar duties and responsibilities are compensated equally, with incumbents hired using the same academic preparation and experience criteria.

The Classification and Payment System Plan is the management tool for excellence used to comply specifically with this principle. There, all positions have been ascribed to various classes, with each assigned to different pay scales as per complexity and responsibility.
