The Executive Vice-Presidency is ascribed to the Office of the President and has the authority, delegated by the president, to carry out all tasks assigned to it in accordance to the By-Laws and needs of the institution.
The vice-presidency coordinates the preparation of reports, and the review and recommendations to the President regarding all transactions and documents that are referred by functionaries of the System.
The vice president also oversees all proposals, appeals or requests made to the president by citizens, government agencies, the Legislature, institutions, corporations, private organizations and foreign individuals.
The vice president helps the System’s president with the implementation and development of resolutions adopted by the board of directors. He or She also articulates and coordinates all systemic activities with the secretary of the board of directors.
Additionally, the vice president coordinates with the deans and vice presidents the processes of evaluation, planning, expansion and development of the University Centers.
