Detailed Duties:

  • Advises and participates in the planning, design, and organization of programs and activities aimed at improving student quality of life and well-being.

  • Responsible for the planning, development, and evaluation of a retention activities plan for the Ana G. Méndez University System institutions and their University Centers.

  • Plans and coordinates everything related to the development of studies in the area of retention and of statistical reports related to the Research Office.

  • Advises and collaborates in the development and fortification of services that facilitate the social and academic integration of new students.

  • Promotes communication and teamwork, facilitating the development of improvement projects and the incorporation of the management philosophies on quality.

  • Studies, analyzes, and interprets the findings of institutional investigations to define institutional impacts and necessary strategies in order to take action in the student services areas.

  • Assists and represents the Vice Presidency of Marketing and Student Affairs in the inter-institutional work teams and in the diverse affairs to which they are assigned.
