Treasury Offices - located at each of the AGMUS institutions -- Universidad del Este, Universidad Metropolitana and Universidad del Turabo. Among their principal functions: fiscal orientation and information on the student population, establishing of student accounts through the registration process, extensions, payment plans, distribution of financial assistance surplus, updating student account information and managing student payments in coordination with the Collections Department.
Central Treasury - in conjunction with the Assistant Vice President, develops all policies and procedures concerning the Treasury Offices and the management of AGMUS income. These are carried out according to established procedures. Reconciles the accounts of the subsidiary Treasury Offices with the General Ledger. Responsible for maintaining control of the establishment of fees in the system to determine study costs. Establishes accounting codes and accounts used for student and non-student collection accounts. Publishes the Guide on planning financially for your university studies with registration costs and fees for the academic year.
