This is a direct service that provides support to various areas within the institutions of the Ana G. Méndez University System, such as marketing, recruiting, registration, retention, financial assistance, treasury, student affairs, ex alumni, and special programs and activities, among others.
Using a modern computerized phone system (MELITA INTERNATIONAL), telemarketing officials can communicate directly with students, employees and suppliers, providing them with the necessary information related to any of the areas mentioned above or regarding a particular issue. These are known as telephone campaigns.
The Telemarketing area receives all calls made to any of the AGMUS institutions through 1-800-SISTEMA, where prospects are provided orientations on study programs, AGMUS facilities, financial assistance programs, etc. This phone number is used by AGMUS in all its publications and publicity. If a call is considered pertinent, the operator transfers the caller to a given specialized area.
AGMUS is the only university system in Puerto Rico using this technology as part of its efforts to provide superior service to the student body. This system allows for a considerable increase in the institution's capacity to reach various groups at the lowest possible cost and has a direct impact on student recruitment and AGMUS admissions.
Hours of operation are from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
